I Write From A Dream State

I have a sceneless scene, it’s awake

The mind is like a blank canvas, innate

Turn this light off, it’s kind of interrupting my dream

I feel proper projections aligning, finally

This dream is a scene, mythos of me

Journey similar, unknown to man

I became natural to my healing self, all

we needed to do is fold both of them in

a different energy system, a different realm

We’re ready to show people, beautiful as hell

Influencing the ink, just about ready to max it out

Other realms speaking to me in my ear, what

do you think I’m going to dream?

    I like the idea of the white canvas, a sortf of blank space …and dreams projected on it, somehow.

    I’ve just woken up completely aware of all the dreams I had last night, details and all and to read this poem was inspiring, I’ll have to write from a dream state sometime 🙂

    This resonates with me. I feel some of my best poetry comes out of a state similar to what you describe.
