‘The Life of George Washington; With Curious Anecdotes, Equally Honourable to Himself, and Exemplary to His Young Countrymen’
‘Mason Locke Weems [October 11, 1759 – May 23, 1825], usually referred to as Parson Weems, was an American minister, evangelical bookseller and author who wrote [and rewrote and republished] the first biography of George Washington immediately after his death. He was the source of some of the apocryphal stories about Washington. Of which, like most little boys, he was immoderately fond, and was constantly going about chopping everything that came in his way. One day, in the garden, where he often amused himself hacking his mother’s pea-sticks, he unluckily tried the edge of his hatchet on the body of a beautiful young English cherry-tree, which he barked so terribly, that I don’t believe the tree ever got the better of it. The next morning the old gentleman, finding out what had befallen his tree, which, by the by, was a great favourite, came into the house; and with much warmth asked for the mischievous author, declaring at the same time, that he would not have taken five guineas for his tree. Nobody could tell him anything about it. Be it I am different messenger than you would have hoped for.

Everything I do is rooted in love, deep love and axled in human correction.

∴, I’d say. I was led to those actions so be it the fate. I was sent to do a particular type of dreamwork—it’s not for everybody, it’s not for the faint at heart. It is for growth—the deepest kind. And I will be that sacrifice, as a lesson for all. I will not tone back my essence to please man, I will do what I was sent to do. ❤ I am in the better sense a shaman ❤ . I got fired because the dreamwork I do and my tact on delivery.

It’s not for everyone – but it is my life’s work and focused on healing core traumas and rises from the human ashes of our divine lives.
