But Twist Is The Truth & Love Is The Torch

Pain and pleasure are linear in degree

Let’s face it, we coil to the same resolution ultimately

Do we not both feel alive at best?

My conscience swells at the thought of any

For at last and at first

I’ve arrived, I’m alive

And this I recall

Many are the unjust that corrupt

Usually people don’t get what they deserve

It’s your disposition that deems your worth

We must never forget

If I am willing to make my own laugh

Than I am willing to cause my own pain

Therefore let this be known

That minorities migrate not to flee

But to truly see the spectrum in its degree

Is minorities a reference to someone?

Primarily referring to an “enlightened society”… though also for anyone who has ever felt less than the majority at some time or another, whether it be in your own family, town or any other form.
