If today was my last day

This is what I’d have to say

I would want everyone to know

How much I have loved

Every message they’ve told

And that by their presence alone

I have learned lessons they’ve shown

This has helped me grow

Each individual I have ever known

Has been a source for a sort of a stepping stone

In this game we call life

If we were only left to our own device

I doubt we’d get far

Because all throughout history

This is the way of mankind and its dignity

How we work together towards a common mission

How we come and gather when something is missing

The domino effect each particular person plays

Is an irreplaceable part of our numbered days
